You have come to the website for Computerized Political Services, a political data processing company that has been servicing organizations and campaigns for the past 30 years.

Computerized Political Services was founded by Jim Steinwinder in 1993.  It was an outgrowth of another company, Critical Path Solutions, which Jim founded in 1979.  Computerized Political Services was started with the purpose of providing superior service and support to political campaigns and organizations.  Jim was also the co-founder and owner of Top Notch Data, a California Democratic Party vendor for a number of years.  Between the 2 political firms Jim and his staff provided services and products to hundreds of campaigns, from the smallest of races all the way up to Governor’s races.

CPS has acquired a reputation for dependability and fast turn around at a fair price.  There are never any rush charges or times when we won’t process a job for the client.  The size of the campaign has no bearing on how we handle the jobs we process.  In addition, CPS has been innovative thru the years when a new and better way to do a job presented itself.  We were one of the first companies to use barcodes to improve accuracy and speed when recording response codes off walk and phone lists.  We also started using voting propensity at a very early stage when selecting a voter universe.  The 3 column visual format for count books was designed by Jim and first used in 1985 for the Florida Democratic Party.
